Virginia is a graduate of the College of Osteopaths, where she achieved a first class honours degree and was awarded the “Oakes” Prize for academic achievement. She qualified in therapeutic and holistic massage therapy in 1991 and is also a fully qualified sports injury massage practitioner and aromatherapist. She has a particular interest in structural osteopathy and is registered with the General Osteopathic Council.

Crystal Palace Osteopathy was founded by Michael McDonnell, a graduate of the College of Osteopaths with a first class honours degree and over 17 years’ experience in remedial and sports massage.

What to Expect
Osteopathy is an established system of diagnosis and treatment recognised by the British Medical Association. It is a hands-on manual therapy based on the belief that if the structure and alignment of the body are correct, it will function properly.
At your first treatment a comprehensive medical history is taken. Orthopaedic, neurological, cardiovascular and other tests may be performed if needed. Your posture will be examined and you may be asked to perform a series of simple movements.
We use a combination of traditional osteopathic techniques, massage and ultrasound to help get you out of pain as quickly as possible.
The fee includes consultation, examination and treatment. We accept payment by cash or cheque. If you have private medical insurance please check with your insurer to see if you are covered — we will issue receipts so that you can claim.
Pricing
First appointment lasts one hour. Follow-up treatments are 45 minutes.
